Grainetier: history

The grainetier is a very practical piece of antique furniture. It is characterized by its many small drawers and charming half-moon handles. Originally, the grainetier was used, as its name suggests, to store seeds for agriculture. Today, this profession has disappeared, but not its piece of furniture. Nowadays, the seed cabinet is used as a sideboard. Lingerie, utensils or cutlery are stored here, depending on the location chosen.
